Oproep voor een onderzoeksproject van het ECWO

Graag brengen wij het onderstaande onderzoeksproject van het Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) onder uw aandacht. ECWO is op zoek naar deelnemers voor een survey ten behoeve van een onderzoek naar de wijze waarop vrouwen in hun professionele werkomgeving door het politieke spel navigeren en waar daarbij hun kracht en sterke kanten liggen. De survey wordt in het Engels afgenomen. Daarom hebben wij hieronder de originele uitvraag opgenomen. De survey draait verder geheel buiten ons om. Wel hopen wij uiteraard dat wij u op termijn de uitkomsten met u kunnen delen.

We, the ECWO, need your help with an important research project that we believe will greatly enhance our understanding of the challenges women face in the political environment of organizations. We are confident that the research will help ECWO support organizations improve their practices and policies in the pursuit of greater equity and justice for all.



As it is important that we do not rely exclusively on self-assessment, we would like to combine your responses with those of your peers or professional associates. Therefore, we are hoping it will be possible for you to provide the names and email addresses of two peers (one male and one female) who will be willing to fill in a shorter survey on how they see you navigate the politics of an organization. If you are happy to provide these names, the questionnaire will ask you to provide the needed details so that we can then survey them. We stress that the survey is designed to be descriptive and not judgmental in any way. There are no correct or incorrect responses!



Finally, although we (ECWO) hope you will do so, the decision to give the names and email addresses of peers or professional associates is entirely yours. We would still value receiving your own responses to the remainder of the questionnaire.
