As we all know from first-hand experience, the world doesn’t always cheer girls when they take the lead. They’re often called “too aggressive,” “bossy,” or a “know it all” when they speak up or assert themselves.

That’s why we’re proud to team up with Vince Carter and the NBA to call on all of us —no matter our gender—to play our part—and encourage girls to be bold and lead.

To show them examples of other women who have set big, bold goals, and taken risks to achieve them.

To be there every day to remind them of their strengths.

And most importantly, to not hold them back from what they already are: the next generation of leaders. #LeanInTogether
